Our Head Coach Oliver
Oliver is a USA qualified coach (USPTR) with a NZIHF qualification in Fitness & Personal Training with more than 10 years of international coaching experience, fitness and nutrition. Born in Germany he played Oberliga Team Tennis for several clubs and toured to most of the national senior master events playing more than 30 tournaments a year and consistently achieving great results. He also toured the United States and Mexico playing the future tour from 2004 to 2006. Now head coach at 2 venues in the Bay of Plenty, he is thriving with the challenges involved, from promoting the game at beginner level to producing national and international elite juniors. Players of any age and standard will benefit from Oliver’s experience and expertise, whilst his friendly, approachable manner will make it a fun & enjoyable experience.
The Venues we teach at
Our main academy center is situated at the Te Puke Tennis Club, Number 3 Road in Te Puke. We offer a wide variety of professional programs catered to all levels and ages from 4 years onwards to 110 introducing the different progression levels from Red Ball with Mini Nets to Orange Ball at three quarter court to Green Ball from the Baseline and then finally yellow ball. New Age's goal is to positively influence the development of all players in their care creating a fun learning environment and making a difference on the New Zealand tennis scene. From September 2016 you will also see us in action at the Waihi Beach Tennis Club where we will be coaching the junior and adult squads. Let's get the ball bouncing and change your game with us, we look forward to hearing from you.
